get2There Saratoga is an Internet application created to help you get around Saratoga Springs and Saratoga County without a car.
get2There was created by the Citizens Transportation Committee of Saratoga County to help provide the information that people need to reduce our reliance on single occupancy automobile travel in our county (to the benefit of everyone).
To start, get2There provides easy access to routes and information on:
CDTA bus routes in the City of Saratoga Springs
CDTA bus service to other communities in Saratoga County
Upstate Transit Commuter Bus Service to and from Saratoga County
Commuter bicycle routes into Saratoga Springs
Recreational bicycle routes in Saratoga County
Location of Public Parking Areas in Saratoga Springs
We have big plans for this, including setting up a "neighbors helping neighbors" local knowledge sharing program. But start we'll simply post helpful information in this blog. I ran into Jim Zack recently who told me about this site. Love it!
I'll spread the word and will definitely use it. I look forward to checking out your recreational and commuter bike routes when they're up and running.
